この製品は、1950年代のアメリカンカルチャーを象徴するクラシックスタイルのジャケットのデザインをベースに、オールドアメリカンスタイルの要素を随所に再現しつつも、シュガーケーンによってタウンユース用にアレンジされたコットンジャケットです。ビンテージの無骨でクラシックなディテールは残しながら、現代的なシルエット・縫製を取り入れ、カジュアルのテイストをプラスした街着として洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。

シルエットは身幅に適度なゆとりを持たせて、着丈が短めに設定されたアメカジスタイルのボックスシルエット(ボクシーフィットスタイル)に再構築され、スタイリッシュにご着用いただけますように仕上げられています。Tシャツなどのライトレイヤーからパーカーやスウェットなどのヘビーレイヤーまで、様々なレイヤリングに対応できる快適なサイジングです。

中綿・裏地なしの薄手のライトアウターで、主に春先から秋口まで軽く羽織れ、年間を通して、幅広く着用できるアイテムです。

素材はコットン100%のライトウェイトウェザー生地です。高密度に織られ、上品なシワ感・パッカリングがあらわれたハリとコシがあるさらさらとした丈夫な薄地生地です。

フロントはジップアップで、ファスナーにはUNIVERSAL社製のジッパーが使用されています。

衿はシャツスタイルカラーで、左衿にはチンストラップが装着されています。襟を立て、右衿裏のボタンに留めて固定することで首元から寒気が侵入することを防ぐようにされています。ストラップを使用しないときには邪魔にならないように左襟裏のボタンに留めておくこともできます。

ポケットは古き良きデザインで、下側の玉縁を上側の玉縁でかぶせるつくりで、雨水、ゴミ等の浸入を防ぐようなつくりになっています。

袖口は2段階で袖口調節が可能なアジャストボタン付きのカフス仕様です。

脇の下部分には湿気逃がしの菊穴が開けられ機能性も充実しています。

負荷のかかるショルダー部分にはもう1枚生地をあてた補強バックヨーク仕様です(この製品の背中ヨークは湿気逃し等の実用性はなく装飾的なデザインになっています)。

背中ヨーク下の肩口にはサイドプリーツ(アクションプリーツ)が入れられ運動性も考慮されています。

後ろの裾の両サイドには緩めのゴムがあてられ、スソが少しすぼまるようなシルエットを演出しています。

This lightweight cotton jacket is made in Japan and produced by Sugar Cane from Toyo Enterprises. This jacket is modeled after one of the most iconic jackets in american culture worn by James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause with classic design, but this light outerwear cotton jacket has been re-designed with the Sugar Cane's brand own detailing, contemporary interpretation and modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Sugar Cane. This jacket is made of a unfilled, unlined, single-ply, pre-washed non-stretch, lightweight cotton high density woven fabric. It features a frontal zip closure, shirt-style turn-down point collar with a throat latch, two external pockets, single button cuffs and straight hem with elastic panels on the sides of the back-waistband. This product is made for Japanese clothing sizes. And this jacket originally intended to wear as a classic boxy fit (a little roomy fit in the chest area with short in the body length) which give you a extra room for a variety of layers with light layers such as T-shirts to heavy layers such as hoodies or sweatshirts underneath for a comfort silhouette and the vintage fashionable feel and for a more old-fashioned look. Outer shell fabric : 100% cotton. Made of a unfilled, unlined, single-ply, pre-washed non-stretch, lightweight cotton high density woven fabric. It has a vintage appearance due to the light puckering of the stitching and sophisticated wrinkles on the face of the fabric for the fashionable vintage feel and look. This jacket deliver the perfect combination of durability and natural softness for comfort. And this jacket is washed once. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage.

Lining : Unfilled.

Interlining (Type of insulation ) : No fill, Lightweight Outerwear. This lightweight outerwear piece can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall. Great for wearing mid-season or even in the winter with under layering.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Zipper closure.

Collar : Shirt-style turn-down point collar. The left side collar has a throat latch (neck strap, chin strap, throat tab). And one concealed buttons under the right collar allow the throat latch to be buttoned across the neck. This throat latch is used for in foul weather to provide added protection to the lower part of the face with the collar-upturned. You can also hide a throat latch with throat tab keeper button underneath left collar, when you do not use a throat tab.

Cuff Type : The two-step button adjustable cuffs with partial elastics let you change the size of the sleeve openings.

Storage : The jacket has two external slant inverse welted hand-warmer pockets at the lower front section of the front. The pockets are designed to prevent rainwater, debris, etc. from entering by covering the lower welt with the upper welt.

Back of the jacket : Straight back yoke. A back yoke is made from double layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points. The rear side pleats on the back (just below the yoke, out towards the ends of the shoulders) to allow for maximum movement and comfort. (* Back panel does not offer ventilation. )

Bottom hem type : Straight Hem (Square cut bottom Hem). This jacket has elastic panels on the sides of the back-waistband.
