その東洋エンタープライズ社(Toyo Enterprises)ブランドの、DUKE KAHANAMOKU(デューク・カハナモク)レーベル実名復刻アロハシャツ(メンズ 半袖シャツ ハワイアンシャツ オープンシャツ)です。

この製品は、1950年代前半のデューク・カハナモクのヴィンテージハワイアンシャツの代表的なデザインである「デュークズパイナップル」をコットン素材で復刻したアイテムです。オリジナルのレーヨン素材をコットンに変更したデイリーユース仕様でレーヨンよりも取り扱いがイージーで手軽に着用できます。

シルエットは、身幅が広めで着丈が短めに仕上げられたビンテージフィフティーズスタイルのボックスシルエット(ボクシー・ライン)です。

形はオープンカラー(開襟タイプ)のフルオープンシャツで、トップボタンはループで留めることができる仕様です。スソは水平にカットされたスクウェアボトム(スクエアカット)です。

素材はコットン100%の薄地ライトウェイトポプリン生地です。非常に薄手で軽やかな、しなやかな着心地の通気性の良い清涼感のある夏向けのカジュアルな薄手生地です。

フロントはトップのループボタンを含めて6つボタンによるフルオープン開閉式です。ボタンにはシンプルで上品な4つ穴樹脂製ボタンが使用されています。美しい光沢感が目を惹き、上品な雰囲気を醸し出します。ボタンホールは水平方向に穴が開けられています。

負荷のかかるショルダー部分にはもう1枚生地をあてた背当てヨーク仕様です。背中ヨーク下肩口にはサイドプリーツが入れられ運動性も考慮されています。

左胸にはボディに柄合わせされたパッチポケットが設けられています。

オールオーバーパターンの柄は抜染プリントで表現されています。

映画「地上より永遠に(1953年)」の格闘シーンで着用された最も有名なパイナップル柄が、この「デュークス・パイナップル」です。当時のロングセラー作品で、シンプルで洗練されたデザインとして人気の高いデザインです。そのDUKE'S PINEAPPLE”をコットン素材で復刻したアイテムです。

This hawaiian shirt is made in Japan and produced by Toyo Enterprises under a license from Duke Kahanamoku U.S.A. This elegant print was originally produced by "DUKE'S PINEAPPLE" from Duke Kahanamoku. And this print of aloha shirt is a reproduction of what Duke Kahanamoku once produced in early 1950's in Hawaii. And originally rayon fabric is replaced by a cotton poplin fabric for comfort. Cotton version is easier to clean and maintain. Also this shirt is cut to MODERN FIT with short length for a more fashion-forward looks than Classic Fit.

Fit : This product is Japan size (Asian size), which is about half size smaller than USA and EU standard size. MODERN FIT with short length for a more fashion-forward looks than Classic Fit.

Material : 100% cotton lightweigt poplin fabric.

Fabric : Light weight non-stretch cotton poplin fabric that is a very lightweight, smooth, high density, flat looking fabric with pineapple pattern. It has the natural softness for comfort, but also strong and long lasting. And the shirt is one washed for the fashionable vintage feel and look, and to ensure consistent sizing, thus these are the final size fitting and it is ready-to-wear. The more you wear, the more fabric will fade beautifully and continue to get softer and cozier. Lightweighter, airy and breathable summer fabric.

Types of Hawaiian Shirt Designs : A Reproduction of the original "DUKE'S PINEAPPLE" from Duke Kahanamoku in early 1950s in Hawaii. And originally rayon fabric is replaced by a cotton poplin fabric for comfort.

Placket type : 6 buttons on front opening including loop top button. Full-button closure (Front placket). This shirt has a top button that fastens with a loop at the collar.

Buttons : The buttons are four hole resin buttons with horizontal button holes.

Collar Type : Notched self-collar ( Loop Collar, Camp collar, Notched collar, Open collar ). Top button loop hole. This shirt has a top button that fastens with a loop at the collar.

Bottom hem type : Straight hemline ( Square cut bottom Hem ).

Pocket : Matched open-top patch pocket on left chest, allowing for a seamless image. Creating matched pockets requires the use of more fabric and more precise cutting and sewing.

Yoke type : Straight yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.

Back of the Shirt : Side pleated back vents to allow for maximum movement and comfort. The rear side pleats on the back (just below the yoke, out towards the ends of the shoulders) to allow for maximum movement and comfort.
